her imagery is inspired by the flat shapes and skewed perspective of folk art. the organic nature of each composition derives from the printing process which the artist has developed. each element is printed individually and the layout unfolds organically as more shapes are added. transparent forms and hand painted details add depth and play to the otherwise flat viewing plane.
